I have examined the accompanying Ordinance intituled

and I am of opinion that the Ordinance is which is not contrary to the

Governor's Instructions. The objects of the Ordinance are to introduce

into the Companies Ordinances, 1911-1915, some amendments which

experience has shown to be advisable, to bring the law of the Colony

into conformity with the China (Companies) Amendment order in Council,

1919, and to adopt the provisions of the Companies Act, 1913.

Section 2.- This section provides that the memorandum of

association of a company must be printed.
